One Spot Storage

One Spot Storage ("we," "us," or "our") operates a home and garage organization service in the Magic Valley and surrounding areas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using our app or services, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: Your name, email address, and phone number (optional) when you create an account.
Garage photos: Photos you upload of your garage space to generate quotes and visualizations. You can do this without an account — see section 5.
Abuse-prevention data: Because estimates are available without an account, we keep a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for one day to count requests and stop automated abuse. The hash cannot be turned back into your IP address, and we do not use it to identify you.
Payment information: Payments are processed by Square. We never receive or store your full card number — Square handles all card data.
Project details: Garage dimensions, selected packages, add-ons, and appointment dates associated with your projects.
Usage data: Standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

2. How We Use Your Information

To generate AI-powered quotes and space visualizations for your project
To schedule and confirm measurement visits and installations
To send appointment reminders and project updates by email and SMS
To process deposit payments and send receipts
To respond to questions and provide customer support

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate our platform. Each provider's own privacy policy governs their use of your data.

Firebase / Google — Authentication (account login)
Supabase — Database and file storage
Square — Secure payment processing
Twilio — SMS appointment notifications
Resend — Email notifications
Anthropic / Claude — AI photo analysis for quote generation
FAL.ai / FLUX — AI visualization of your garage space

4. Your Garage Photos

Photos you upload are stored securely and used only to generate your quote, create space visualizations, and plan your project. We do not share your photos with third parties beyond the AI services listed above, and we do not use your photos in advertising or marketing without your explicit written consent.

5. Estimates Without an Account

You can upload photos and get a full estimate without creating an account or giving us your name, email, or phone number. When you do, we store the photos and the estimate and give your browser a private key that opens it. Anyone without that key — including anyone who guesses the web address — cannot open your estimate.

We can see the estimate itself, including your photos and the measurements taken from them, and we use it to understand demand and prepare for a possible job. We have no way to contact you about it unless you choose to create an account, at which point the estimate becomes part of your account.

If you never create an account: we delete the photos attached to that estimate after 90 days. We keep the measurements and the estimate figures, which are not personally identifying, for our own planning. To have an anonymous estimate deleted sooner, email us the link and we will remove it.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and project data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g., payment records). Photos attached to an estimate that was never claimed by an account are deleted after 90 days, as described in section 5.

7. Your Rights

You can view and update your name and phone number from the Profile page in the app.
You can request a copy of your data or request account deletion by emailing us.
You can opt out of SMS notifications by replying STOP to any text message.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure cloud storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

9. Children

Our services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll note the date of the last update at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
